Anyone have Comfortsport and Scenera pics?

My teacher at nursing school is due next month and I noticed she has a Graco Comfortsport installed in her car. I wanted to write her a quick email suggesting the Scenera instead since it's so much more practical. But since she's not a car seat fanatic I think the words "higher top slots" and "higher rear facing limit" won't mean as much to her as it does to us.

Does anyone have pictures of a kid in a ComfortSport and a kid in a Scenera to compare the two so it can be seen how huge of a difference there is?

Aggghh I just sold my last comfortsport last night!
I do have pics of my DS in his scenera and touriva if you want to see them.

My DS was always a big boy. He was 20lbs at 3months old. He currently is 17.5 months old and 29lbs, 34inches with a 13"torso.

I recently sold my two ComfortSports due to the low harness slots, LOW rear facing limits and low shell height. The top harness slot measures 14.5inches. My DS has a 13inch torso at 17.5 months!

I bought them prior to learning about ERF and taking my CPST class. I'm VERY sorry I bought them. They seem nice and plush in the stores but that's about the only nice feature!

We had them for my sister's car and DH's car. I replaced the one in DH car with a Scenera and moved the extra Touriva into my sister's car.

I ran out a couple weeks ago and bought the Scenera after finding out DS hit 29lbs (clothed and full belly). I wasn't waiting for the extra pound! I have a very supportive DH that thankfully is very interested in ERF and doesn't heckle me about a thing! :D

If you like you can use my pics to show your instructor. I'm pretty sure I don't have any with my DS in the comfort sport. I'll dig around though.

I don't have Scenera pictures... it's in my dad's car and it's not easily accessible at the moment. It would be next weekend, at the earliest, before I could get pictures of him in it. I do have pictures of my son in a ComfortSport. Would that help, if you told her how tall he was and how much he weighed when the picture was taken? He's really very short, not even on the charts, so it might clue her in as to just how small that seat really is...

He was about 16 months old here. About 28-29 inches tall (which is, for her reference, the average height of a 10-11 month old boy). Probably only about 21-22 pounds.

You can see the top slot in this picture and how close he is to it. It took about another month before he passed that top slot.

Two months after these pictures were taken, his head was within one inch of the top of the seat (outgrown rear facing) and he was past the top slot at that point, so also outgrown forward facing. All before he hit 30 inches tall and under 23 pounds.
