Tech class - days split?

I'm looking at taking a tech class, and the only one currently in my area is split up. The dates are:
Tue Mar 18 2008 07:00 am 03:00 pm
Wed Mar 19 2008 07:00 am 03:00 pm
Tue Mar 25 2008 07:00 am 03:00 pm
Sat Mar 29 2008 09:00 am 04:00 pm

Since the days are not back to back, would it not be as beneficial? It seems like that on the 3rd class, you would need sort of a refresher of the first 2 clases? Would it better to wait and see if there is one with consecutive classes?

My class was split like that. You won't have an issue. It's super easy It's an open book exam as well. They want you to pass. I actually liked it split like that.

Mine was split Monday, Tuesday, Monday, Tuesday.

Man, I'd prefer that! It would be easier to find childcare among friends that way! Then I wouldn't bombarding them with 4 days in a row!

But, it would've cost dh a lot of vacation otherwise. I can't believe how perfect this is for us! Although, we better be IN the fire station when installing seats at 9pm. Brrrrrrrr....

OOOhhh, I'm even more jealous of that schedule! I found one that's super close at the end of Apr, but don't know if I could find childcare for the 4 days! I'm going call the instructor and see if they ever do any other types of class schedule!

How long does it take to get certified after you pass the course? Do you get it right away?

You get your Tech number as soon as your instructor has entered the proper info on the SK certification site.

mine was split up 1 day on 2 days off, because it was specifically for the firefighters shift A only.

The class I registered for is not till 4/1 and it's tues-sat, 8-4. I'm wondering if I should wait till the mid of May for a different class. This April one is about the same distance but in a congested area. Feeling impatient to wait 2 months.

the class I hope to take will be thurasday and friday then the following thursday and friday. I like it better that way!

My class was five Fridays. It worked well for me. The test is easy. I got a 99 and never even looked in the book. Now, I just need a split schedule again to recertify. Way easier to get time off.

Mine was split as well, 2 consecutive Thurs+ Fridays. It was for working people who couldn't afford to take off work a whole week (mostly nurses)
