I asked a question about installing a Regent in my van using belts rather than latch. (I can't reply becuase somehow registration email process isn't working for me). I got some answers about long belt installing ok in the captains chairs but not short belt. I don't understand what that means....do I need a short belt install when my son reaches a certain point.
What are those and what do they mean?

The long and short belt paths are two different ways of installing the Regent. They're both done with LATCH or the seatbelt. Under 40 pounds and you do the long belt path. Over 40 pounds you do the short belt path. Since you have a Honda at 40 pounds you'll need to switch over to the seatbelt as well, you can't use LATCH beyond 40 pounds. The user guide will probably describe it better than I can.
