This could possibly help us from buying a car if we can fit three Radians in the back of an 2004 Xterra. of course two of them would be rear facing so I dont know if that would be hard or not

I am not sure, but can tell you the base of the Radian is only 13 inches wide and the widest part is on the back across the shoulders. It irs 17 inches wide. So that may help determine fit, but not how they will install. Sorry I was not much help. Did you try the google search bar on the bottom of the page?

I would assume they'd fit. I have a 2001 Xterra and a couple of Radians, I can try tomorrow if no one answers back with a for sure answer.

I was able to get a RFing Radian outboard and a FFing Radian center without trouble in my 2001 Xterra. I would assume you could take a third Radian and put it RFing on the other side of the FFing Radian.

My only real concern was that the foot went up on the wheel well a bit, but I got less than an inch of movement front to back and side to side and the car shook, so it was definitely in there.

You sure can. If you put a RN outboard the install is easier if you thread the seatbelt over the cover. ( just a tip)

I was able to get a Regent, and two RN's in mine with no problem.

Kimberly, What is the width of your back seat? I wonder if I could get those 3 across the back of my T&C.

Not sure as I don't own that car anymore.

But if it helps, I used to be able to get 2 century convertibles and a booster in the back of a T&C.
