Compass Truefit available now

Goore's called me and they have a Compass Truefit on display. They've sold the other 2 they got but still have the one on display. They are in Sacramento and I am in Washington State. Hope someone close to them can go in and play with it and let us know what they think of it before the Britax sale ends. They are selling for $190. I am very anxious to hear what someone thinks of it!

*GULP* I live about 3 miles from Goore's.

I have to go incognito, though, because I spend far too much time in the car seat section with my three crazy boys.

TO tell you the truth, I've been waiting for this day for so long, but it's like a perfect storm, isn't it...I mean, the Britax sale, the True Fit, and the Nautilus, all coming together at once and I just can't decide....:dizzy:

I'll do what I can this weekend. We're expecting a big storm here today and I don't really want to take the kids out in it....no point in a great car seat if I drive in a tornado....

Just called Goore's. They have on floor sample right now in Cappuccino. They expect more in toward the end of next week. As for the other cover choices, those will be closer to April

I would still love to hear about this seat to see if I should wait for it.

Okay - whoever is going to check out this seat ((thank you, thank you, thank you!)) can you take a look at the seat with the headrest removed and see if it really is "right sized" for a newborn to RF safely and securely? It looks like a great infant seat (esp with a DH who is 6'4" and whines about not having his seat far enough back). TIA!

I had no idea they were forecasting tornadoes for today

And really, our tornadoes are jokes for the rest of the country

I'm about an hour from Goore's, which stinks because I had to turn down a job offer a few years ago because of it

I just spoke with a gal at LearningCurve and she told me that it's available for sale now on their website www.learningcurveshop.com and to check local BRU and TRU. She had no info on other stores and when it would be available. They only have it in Cappuccino at this time.

I was thinking the same thing about the tornadoes! I had no idea we were supposed to have a storm today, its raining here. I will try to get to Goores this week, I need the Monarch anyway.

I didn't realize there were so many of us here that live in Sac! I am about 20-30 minutes away from Goores, depending on traffic.
