Sticker marks won't come out of my kid's carseat

My four-year-old always charms the librarians at our local library into giving him stickers, and one ended up on the fake ultrasuede-y portion of his Sahara Britax Regent. When I peeled it off to wash the cover you could clearly see a darkened square where it had been. I thought nothing of it, thinking the wash would take care of it, but washing it left this spot untouched. Now I know this is not a matter of life and death, but after seeing that the cover alone sells for 85 bucks, I'd like to start taking better care of the thing. Any suggestions for lessening the appearance of this mark? :D

You can use a little bit of Goo Gone too. It is made from orange oils and won't hurt anything. It usually works for anything I need out of fabric.

Rubbing alcohol always works for me on sticker residue. I like it better than oils because it saves me the next step of washing the oil off whatever I'm trying to clean the residue off of. The alcohol evaporates in no time :)

I'd spot-test the rubbing alcohol, though. . that can take dye right out of fabric! I'd hate for the stickiness to be gone only to be left with a faded area.

Just make sure that you use something that won't remove the flame resistant stuff on the seat. Alcohol may. Just a thought.
