I need some ideas for this display board. Our children's fair is on Saturday!

Ok, here are my thougths:On the left side myths about ERF (the famous "legs will break" hogwash) and more websites for research.
The right side detailed information about ERF. The difference between a child's body and an adults.
Maye these three pics too:

*A side comparison picture of RF and FF crash. (like the one on cpsafety.com)
*The body scale that shows the body/head proportion of children.
*The vertabrea picture, that compares the growth/fusion of the bones

Any thoughts on how I should sum up the dangers of FF?

Will you have a laptop with you? At my church baby fairs, I play the RF video from you-tube. I would put as many pictures of older toddlers/preschoolers rear-facing as possible, especially Piper (Wendy something is her mom's username). I would put that one under the broken legs fallacy section.

Great ideas and the board looks nice so far! Have fun.

We have a laptop with some of the pics on cpsafety.com album down loaded onto it. Plus pics of my son ERFing.

How did you download the youtube.com video to your computer? I couldn't do so. Do you have internet power to hook up to when you do it?
I have a couple clips down loaded from cpsafety. The same clips that play in the "Importance of rear facing" video.

If you google you-tube player, there are some that you can use off-line. They are on my other laptop or I would give you a link to them. You download a player and then use it to download the you-tube videos onto your computer and play them at events. I have not had internet access, so I've needed them on my hard drive.

I have never been able to find a way to burn them to a disc or anything like that though.

maybe to fill in some of that white space you could put quotes form the aap policy statement, and other places like the safe kids etc. and maybe even from kids who have ERF'D (you could make those up we all know a kid or two here who preffered it) and i def agree about piper. that girl has some loonnnggg legs!! wendythomas is her moms name. good luck!! i wanna see pics when you done!!

OK here's the finished product! I'm breaking out my lap top later to charge it and put more pics on it from the ERF album on cpsafety.com. I'm going to run it as a slide show. (Hopefully, I'm near an outlet tomorrow!)

I tried to sum things up. I used most of the stuff from cpsafety.com. I have some "Rear Facing Unmatched Safety" brochures for parents if they want them.

Sorry the pics are a little dark. I had to shadow the flash b/c it was to bright and made glare.
