My Son is 5 years and 8 months old. He is 44 inches tall and about 44 pounds. i was wondering if you thought he would be booster ready. He will sit still and does not move around when he is in the car.

At that age and weight if you feel he's safe in it a booster is a safe option for him. Just make sure it's a high back booster.

He's technically a good candidate for EH, but at his age, he's also find in a booster. I wouldn't put a kiddo that light or small into a backless though.

What is ge riding in now? If he still fits, I would probably keep him in that, at least in your main car. I do think that he will be ok in a booster for grandma's car, carpool, whatever, but if you have a seaat he can EH in, I would keep him harnessed.
