I am a headset addict. Now that I have a headset (or 3 LOL), I will NOT drive while using a handheld cell phone, it's just too freaky to drive without the headset.
While I would discourage anyone from driving while talking on the phone, it does happen and I admit doing it too. You can get a headset for free and drive a little more safely. Shipping is 4 clams, and the headsets are free.

(Now please don't operate the buttons on the phone while you're driving, ok? You can set your phone to 'anykey answer' to make answering the phone simple, and if you come to the end of the call, be patient, when the other person hangs up, your cell will eventually end the call on its own...)

Mine has speaker phone, but I've been looking for an affordable headset for my mom.... I just read an article in IIHS about the increased risk of accidents due to driving while using a cell
