convertible vs. combination

Okay, let me preface this by saying I have too much time on my hands.

All the talk of the the new Nautilus and the new Britax combination seat... it got me thinking. I own "convertible" seats. They are for infants through toddlers. If I buy my oldest dc a "combination" seat, that will be a seat that is for toddlers to children, because it changes to a booster. I mean, it "converts" to a booster.

I think the phrases "convertible" and "combination" need to be transposed. My MAs "combine" the functions of rfing and ffing. The GN "converts" from a harnessed seat to a booster.

I'm nit-picky, I know. But what do you think?

Good point! I think they are two similar, both being c words and all, and cause too much confusion! they should have better names!

But it converts from a RF seat to an FF seat?
And combines the harness and dedicated booster functions?

I dunno, I hate both names... we need a total overhaul :p

Ahh, thank you, NOW those names make some sense.

But I agree, still too confusing.
