Our Cowmoo Roundabout arrived... QUESTION

We love it!!! It is so plush - more so than our MA, but perhaps it's because our MA has had 4 yrs of almost daily use and the plushness has been flattened out...

I have always loved the Cowmoo pattern so I decided to go for it, with the Target sale for the RA and also the PW being discontinued... So now we have a Cowmoo PW and a Cowmoo RA. But the PW is currently for carpooling and not regular use, and the RA is for DH's Wrangler.

QUESTION: I'm still debating a Diplomat instead of the RA b/c of the headrest perhaps allowing for longer RF than the RA. I read elsewhere on here that some folks were speculating that a child could still safely ride RF in the Dip as long as their head was an inch below the *headrest* and not the *shell*. I have reservations about that - any one want to comment on doing that?

If DD can RF longer in a Dip, then we may get an Onyx Dip instead of the Cowmoo RA... sniff sniff...

For me the highest I would allow my own child to go in the DIP would be even 1/2 an inch to even with the top of the shell. Not the TSIP. I just feel safe going any higher than that. :twocents:

Butting in to say... man, who knew we'd someday refer to a carseat as "dip."

Britax was not thinking about us when they chose that title. :ROTFLMAO:

Awesome Adventuremom!!! The RA I bought was the Brodgport cover from BRU but I'm waiting for my cowmoo cover to come in the middle and will switch right away! I can't wait!!!

Oh, and I reposted the comparison pics on the thread about using the Dipl over the shell.

Not sure @ the Diplomat, but when I called Britax re: the same issue w/the BV, I was told that the seat shell was to be used to judge RF height, NOT the SIP headrest.
