I pulled into a best buy parking lot the other day and a Dad and his boy (maybe 3 yrs old) were getting into the car, I have to say I was truly amazed as I watched... the seat (only one) was in the middle of the backseat (safest place for one child) then as I watched him put his son in with his new dvd in hand..he took his time... buckled the straps, and checked the tightness.. I then watched daddy move away from there and noticed that the chest clip was perfect.. No Mom to be found so I am guessing it was a Daddy day out... regardless I was very impressed. I was expecting what I usually see, something done completely wrong..Of coarse I was looking though my windshield, but I could see pretty clear. Anyway it was very nice to know that some parents get it.;)

It is nice to see when people actually take the time to do there part in keeping there child safe!

Anytime DH has the youngans he knows to take his time and put them in right. I have to get on him every now and then as a refresher.. lol. He thought I was silly though when I first wanted a Britax but once I explained and showed him why he was all for it!

Maybe it was a DH of someone here???
I know my DH puts DS in properly - he's heard it all before and knows I will find out if he did it wrong.

Awesome! I've also trained DH quite well... :D ... On a tangent, today we were driving home from a family outing, and he said, "Oh, somebody got a new Britax...". I'm like, "Where?!?", looking around. He said, "You didn't see it? There was a Britax carseat box in somebody's trashpile back there!" He's one of us now... :ROTFLMAO:

I get excited now seeing an older (than 6 month) child rear facing, and with the tether (to the back of the car AU method) connected, as it was not the "done" thing here previously. People didn't like the tether so they didn't use it. I still see too many children forward facing from 22lb though :(

We were walking through the neighbourhood the other day and I was pleased and stunned to see a RF Radian in a car we passed.

To see a Radian is one thing, but to see it installed RF was awesome!
