    Statistics on rear facing versus front facing car seats

    Can you provide me with resources of reports that have statistics that show rear facing seats are safer for children than forward facing?

    There's a researcher at the University of Virginia who has been studying this. His name is Chris Sherwood, and his publications would have data. Here's a link:

    Great article! The video didn't work but the audios are good. The first audio wasn't great - it mentioned 1 yr and 20 without immediately mentioning extending it. Second audio was OK, but the third audio was great! It would be good to send to anyone, about extending times to transition to next type of seat for all ages.
