Read threads not showing as read

When reading a thread and then going back into the forum it shows as unread, but the last message is still the same.

This is the same if I log out or not.

This happens to me sometimes to with this, and other, phpBB boards. I have no idea what happens, but I theoize it's a corrupted cookie. My suggestion would be to clear your cookies and reboot your PC.

this has always happened to me on any board using this software, for the past 4+ years . I just learned to live with it.

I will every now and then click "mark forums read" to clear out the ones I know I've already read.

I'm not sure why this would happen other than a problem with cookies.

Incidentally, for software related issues, you can also visit http://www.vbulletin.com/ . They have forums and online documentation that might help troubleshoot certain problems better than anyone here.
