She just called and told us she is about 2 months preggo!
She has no idea about car safety really. She has a 10 year old DD that did stay in a booster until 8 or close to 9.
Now I would LOVE to get her a car seat for the new baby.
They are low-income and this is a surprise baby.
The only thing is I do not know how in the world I can afford to buy her one. I would like to get her something that is only RF to a higher weight limit so she HAS TO keep in rear facing. I know if its rear facing/forward facing she will put it FF as soon as she thinks its OK. But she will not be able to afford to buy a FF one so thats why I would just want to get a RF.. Tricky.
Are any mamas on here going to be putting there car seat in the for sale section before August-Sept? I think that is my best bet to get one used from someone on this board or find a good deal on one thats new.
