Regent, LBP, LATCH....

video on Britax. Is it just me or does anyone else think it will be difficult to adjust the harness with the LATCH strap going over the harness the way htey show in thier video? YOu can waych the video by going to www.britaxusa.com, then click safety center and on the right og the page is a box with a drop down menu for various things.

ETA: I wish the LBP with the L/S belt was a seasy as it looks. The must have a special extry long seatbelt.

I watched the video, and I don't find the harness on mine to be any harder to adjust than it was with other install methods. I'm pretty sure the LATCH is over the harness like that, but I will double check to make sure.

I just figure if the strap is tight then it will have a lot of pressure on the harness straps and they may tighten, but could be hard with the extra pressure on over the straps. I run mine under when I am playing around.

I asked this question when I first got my Regent and I didn't understand until I installed it.

The shell is actually raised on each side of the harness so the seatbelt doesn't put any pressure on it. I see a bigger problem with routing the seatbelt between the harness and the shell because you wouldn't be able to tighten the harness all the way. It would be held away from the shell by the tight seatbelt. I think the owner's manual on the newer Regents specifies how to route the seatbelt when using the LBP.

the regent has a channel on it that the straps are in. It is shallow but seems to do that job of keeping the belt from pressing into the straps.

Thanks. Yes the new mauals do show the LBP seatbelt install. I was jsut watching the viseos because I had neve watched them.

Thanks, I guess I never paid any attention to that and ran under the harness.
