Did I give the correct advice?

First off I want to thank you all for the great information that you've given me. I just found this board recently and I'm hooked. I've been a car seat fanatic since the 80's but didn't have my own kids until 2002.

A member of my twins club called and wanted my advice on convertible seats for her almost one year old twins. She was looking at one of the 40lbs limit Gracos and I pointed her more in the direction of the EFTA for the higher weight/height. She wanted to keep it under $150 since she needs to buy two. I'm going to meet up with her next week and try some seats out with her twins and her car. Is there something else I should have her look at or recommend?

Under $150, I think the EFTA is a great choice. So is the Fisher Price Safe Voyage Deluxe (discontinued but still available, based on the Britax Marathon).

That's it for HWH convertibles under $150, but the Safety 1st Uptown is probably also a decent choice. It only harnesses to 40 pounds but it has pretty tall top slots to get most kids to 40 pounds in the harness, and a 35 pound rear-facing weight limit and tall seat shell, and EPS foam and a nice plush cover.

Thanks! I'll add the FPSVD to our list too. Since the Safety 1st is so close in price, I think I'll stick with the other two unless they don't work. I appreciate the help.

I don't typically recommend the FPSVD because it's hard to find, it's being discontinued, and it has a lower RF weight limit.
