Hi- dose anyone have the granite marathon cover. My not-even one year old beloved houndstooth cover developed a hole. I didn't know their covers were included in the waranty (thank God). But they don't make the houndstooth anymore so they are sending me granite. The rep swore it was as velvety as the houndstooth but it still looks rough. Dose anyone know what this cover realy looks and feels like. They are having me send my houndstooth cover back to them- wouldn't you know it.

It's really soft, but it has kind of a nubby softness to it...not rough at all, just textured. If it's any consolation, I like it a lot better than houndstooth (which tends to show a lot more dirt and crumbs than Granite, from the seats I've seen and installed).

I'm so glad your cover was under warranty...good thing you called!

thank you so much. Now I feel at ease. When I 1st bought the seat I was debating between those two covers and went with the houndstooth but now I might be glad to have the granite. Britax gave my choice of a couple of other covers- handfull, microdot, racer, new blues, electric blues but I am set on gray ( not too dark not too light) and it matches my car.

I have the granite cover for one of my dd marathons.. I LOVE IT.. its really a nice cover.. It has a neat soft feel and i like almost nubby feel.. We have three Britax seats and this one so far is my favorate..
