My Sears had the Parkway for $25

I really have a car seat addiction. We hit the mall this afternoon, and I had to check out our Sears to see if I could find one of those great Britax deals. They usually don't, but I figured it was worth a shot. I scanned their only Parkway and it was $24.99. I couldn't pass it up. The DOM is not so great - Feb 2007. I wanted to get one before they were discontinued and this will expire when my oldest is 8. I figured it would be a good back-up booster for when she is older and goes off with friends. Or if I have have to drive my nephew. And what is better than a Britax seat for $25.

My husband and I were just talking about finding super deals on car seats and boosters. I told him, at the very least, we can donate them to a program (or person) that needs them. He actually agreed. I mean, really, how could you pass up a deal like that?

I am so jealous!! My Sears is not that close so I can not stop by often and the only Britax seat I saw when I went was the RA. I should take a special trip out there...

This is killing me!! :crying: I want to score a $25.00 parkway so badly!! What a great find!! Do they ever have them online for that price??? Or is it only in stores?? Anyone know?

Also, when they have this $25 parkway sale going on, is it for all stores or will it just be one?? Should I check out my local sears tomorrow or will it be a waste?? Someone tell me it will be there!! LOL

I've never even seen them on Sears.com. And I've never seen them at my local store either!!! :thumbsdown:

I have been reading here about these Britax deals at Sears on the RA and the PW. Every time we go to the mall, I check the price of the PW at Sears. I checked it a month ago or so, and it was regular price. Last night I checked and it was on clearance. My Sears didn't have any Roundabouts. I think it is hit or miss. I was very surprised that it finally was on clearance, because I think I have checked the price at least three times.

I have read on here that some people have had luck calling the store and checking to see if they have the seats and then having them check the price. I haven't tried that, but it might save a trip.

EVERYONE GO TO SEARS!! I went tonight and I was SHOCKED to find that they actually had a $24.99 parkway!!!! It was the only one they had (Northridge, CA). I would have bought more if they had them and then given them to people who needed them. Such a good deal!! I was totally expecting it to not be on clearance. I was so excited and yelled out to my husband in the store "I GOT IT!! I GOT THE 24 DOLLAR PARKWAY!!!"LOL

ETA: DOM is May 18, 2006. Will expire when my son turns 8! Cover is granite. Fits really well right now. We will use it as the occasional back-up/spare when he is ready!

Yea!! I am so glad you got one too. I yelled the same thing to my DH. I think he thought something was wrong. He already thinks I am crazy.

If I can find any more, I think I might buy them to donate. What a great deal.

The Sears closest to me (the one in the mall, that is.) clearanced out all of it's Britax last year, or the year before.
