Ok, I'll just go ahead and ask.....

Do all new carseats (convertable) come with the UAS clips????? I am looking at getting a Radian Premium but I don't see on the description that it has UAS clips....

Absolutely. Just as LATCH is now required in vehicles, the anchors are also required on child restraints.

Thanks ladies, I am kinda clueless when it comes to all this stuff. My first child is 5mos, and quickly outgrowing her infant seat (she's almost 20lbs) so I've been SEARCHING high and low for the best convertable seat for her...... I'm torn between the Britax Marathon and the Radian Premium....

No, unfortunately we live in a very small town, and there are NO retailers of either brand where we live. I will be making the decision based on online research only, and purchasing online as well..... makes for a harder time making up my mind!!!

I've had both, and personally, I'd go with the Britax Marathon. I love my Radian but it's a PITA to install compared to the Marathon (I've only done seatbelt installs though). Just my experience Good luck!

you have a newer corolla right? I've installed the marathon and radian in my corolla. I have a few pictures, but I'll have to find them. I'm subscribing to this to remind me to come back later.

Yup, I have an 06 Carolla... I just purchased the Radian Premier and waiting it's arrival. I hope it's not too difficult to install.... my hubby and I aren't the brightest when it comes to doing stuff like that...

It's generally pretty easy with LATCH, it's usually only forward facing seatbelt installs that give some people issues.

You can always post pics of your install and we'll help walk you through fixing any errors we see.

In order to drive it would need to be in the center or passenger side and the passenger seat would not be usable unless by a shorter person(which we are all 5'10 and up).
