Disabled young adults car seats meeting Transport canada Standards??

Hi,
I'm does anyone have any info on young adult car seats for the disabled that meet Transport Canada regulations? I need to find a car seat for someone who is approx 5' 6" and 100 lbs, loves car rides, but is a real Houdini when it comes to seat belts, seat belt locks etc? Right now we are unable to import the Columbia or Britax
car seats d/t Transport Canada Regs. Pls help!

What about the 86Y harness? do a search on the boards for it, I think it might be ok to use in Canada. It works with the vehicle belt and I think you can get it with special needs adjustments which make it more difficult to escape from.

Do a search for the 86Y as I can't remember who the manufacture is.

You can get a SnugSeat Traveller Plus in Canada, my instructor had one for demo a while back. I'm not sure how you go about getting one, though. Have you actually contacted transport canada about the issue?
