Many seem to come here wondering how long kids will fit in the marathon and such so I figured I could post a few pics - since I just found them:whistle:

Anyway the pics were taken a week before their 6th and 7th birthdays. Stats below are current - they were a little smaller when the pics were taken.

I think the older two look fine, just maybe not much leg support. But not too squished, side-to-side, for a seat that they will outgrow heightwise fairly soon.

It's amazing to me that some kids fit the Marathon to age 8, when H was too tall at 4! :p

thanks for the pics. very helpful! Is the baby's shoulder above the lowest slot. My 11 mo is barely above it on the RA... I can't imagine her fitting at 4mo.

I am so jealous!! Your kids fit with room to grow at 6 and 7 while Avi is a hair away from being over the top slots!!

No fair!!

The kids are very cute btw!!

Thanks! I wish I had known when they were small that it was a worthy investment. They had Graco Cargos until 5 & 40.

Baby's shoulders were just a bit below the bottom slots. I would've probably considered it close enough to use, but I kept her in her keyfit. I tried her in it at 4 months cuz that's when I switched my dd1 to her marathon. She had outgrown her infant seat by then. So I wanted to see how dd2 fit at the same age.

They both said it was comfy - even though they did appear a little squished.

Same here, DD1 was too tall for the MA at about age 4.5. It's so fun to see kids close to her current age (just turned 6) who still fit in the seat.

Thanks to the OP for sharing the pictures of your adorable MA models. :)

I tried Jordyn in one the other night at target. I had my camera but took it out and got really embarrassed snapped a bad pic that was too close and put it away- yeah umm i will never be doing a photo op at BRU/Target anytime soon. lol.

anyhoo.....she still fit! in the store anyway-may be diff installed. She was at the top slots but she was not over, even sitting all the way up. She was squished side to side tho, but she fit and its really cool! she is 43.5" and 48 lbs, so thats pretty good.

My DS is almost 7 and still fits in a DC - his shoulders are at least 1/2" below the top slot. (If I could figure out how to post pics without searching for directions right now, I'd post some.)

I asked him (repeatedly and directly ) whether his shoulders felt squished, and he emphatically said no. Still, I'm glad we have a Regent for him. (Though I wish I'd known all I know now when he was 1 ... would have bought a MA or whatever it's predecessor was! He could have used it until it expired!)

Thanks:love:

I think it is funny that some people's kids are bigger at 5 than mine are at 7!! It is amazing to think that my 6 yo was once a 30# 18 month old!! He was a huge brute, very solid. We thought he was going to be big! Then he got long and lean, apparently not too long according to some other people's kids, but in comparison to how he was as a toddler!

Thank you so much for posting those pictures! We're in a marathon at 4.5 and I've been wondering how much time we have left. :)
