Nautilus Installed in Center! Doing the Happy Dance!

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!! Make sure Splash sees this, as her Forester has a similar center seatbelt (3 part belt with connector that comes from ceiling) I did it!!!!And just in case anyone gets upset, the gripper thing under the seat is very thin- the seat is in ROCK solid. No twisting required of the buckle stalk- no locking clip needed, nada. I love Graco for making the belt path so high up!!!!

That looks great! Yay! I like those high belt paths too... it makes it so much easier in lots of vehicles.

Yes, the Radian is HISTORY now in my car for that reason.....I can't believe they did it right at Graco. I am definitely getting another one as soon as I see if there will be different covers.

My 3rd row seat is like that, with a 3 part seatbelt! Cool!

I don't have a top tether anchor there though. Could I still use the nautilus there?

You may want to double check with a tech, but according to the Nautilus manual- it says that IF you have a tether anchor available- use it (w/seatbelt install)

Yes, I only had to buy a gazillion different seats in the meantime,LOL! I have come full circle back to Graco. I am keeping my Parkway for the future, though.

No way for me to check but it looks like it would- RF- maybe not FF.

I can't answer for sure, but here are some pictures I took of the Nautilus next to a SafeGuard, which I believe is wider than a BV (though not positive). http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?p=304879

BTW, that Nautilus was also installed in a center seat with a 3-part-out-of-the-ceiling belt. Way easy.

YAY!! Splash (Estelle) definitely needs to see this... it's a perfect seat for Charlie... so big and tall, yet not huge like the Britax regent.

Quick! Someone convince AJ I NEED to have one!

Not yet, though. I'm gonna hold on it for a bit, until it's been out long enough to work out some kinks. But oh... how I want it. It... it's just... I think I might love it.

You know you need one, Splash. Wouldn't Charlie love the cup holder? And how many seats install rock solid in the center of your Subaru? And the Regent doesn't convert to a booster.....

Glad you got to see the pics. Let me just ask- why is the RYS getting too small? I thought it had high top slots? Or is it the weight limit? Oh and my kid fell asleep in it today on the way home from errands and her head was cozily cradled by the head wings. I am going to stop gushing about this seat. People are going to get sick of me. Oh- just ONE more thing......the harness adjuster is SMOOTH AS BUTTER.
