Problem with ERF

OK, not really a problem, but I figured the titile would get plenty of attention ;) What do those of you do with ERF regarding wet icky shoes. I really don't want to have to take her shoes off everytime. The back of the seat is getting gross. I don't mind the dirt really, but when it is snowy and slushy out her CSS as well as the seat back get all wet and ick. It is only an occasional thing now, she doesn't walk too often, but I was thinking that next winter it will be more of an all the time issue. Anyone have any bright ideas other that taking her shoes off each time?

I found it easier just to pull her boots off. I still do so now, and she is FF, because if I leave them on she eats the snow off of them and rests them on the edge of the vehicle seat. In the grand scheme of removing coat, buckling up, putting the coat back on backwards (she loves this for some reason, she likes to hide her face in the hood) etc., it really doesn't take a lot of extra time.

You can try taking a towel and affixing it to the seatback. Poking two holes in one end and feeding it through the bars of the headrest worked when we tried it, but her MA still got wet in the seat. ETA, we do get a lot of snow here though, it might be enough if you just have wet boots rather than boots completely encrusted in an inch of snow.

Thanks so much for the replies. Thanks Melissa for the links, just what I was looking for. I had never even thought of using the head rest poles :)

I got a cheap towel at target that was almost the same color as my cars interior and pushed it up under the headrest to secure it.

I just carry her.... it's just too much of a pain to do anything else. We are usually just going out to the truck anyways so I'd have to pick her up to put her in once we got there... might as well carry her. lol I let her walk once we get inside. Pick her up when go back outside... works for us. :) Even though she IS getting really big. lol
