Radian Questions
DS is 38 lbs, FF in a Radian Premier.
1. My manual says that the SafeStop MUST be used for children under 40 lbs when FF. It says it cannot be used RF. It does not say anything about whether to use it or not when a child 40 lbs and up is FF. Do I take it off or no? I am leaning towards taking it off. It is top tethered, of course, and installed using LATCH (outboard passenger side). Which leads me to my 2nd question.
2. What are the LATCH weight limits in a 2001 Pontiac Aztek? Do I need to install with the seatbelt after 48 lbs? I looked in my vehicle's manual and it says nothing about it. My Radian manual just says do not install with latch after 65 lbs (um duh? that's the weight limit of the seat!)
Thanks!
Anna

Re: Radian Questions
The Safestop *must* come off after 40lbs... it can take quite awhile to gain those last two pounds, I'd probably leave it on for now.
The lower anchors can be used up to 48lbs.

Re: Radian Questions
Good to know, I had wondered the same thing myself. I received a replacement Safestop strap recently (saying the previous one was defective), but I just took it off altogether since he was close to 40 lb.
