VW beetle convertible/convertible seat selection???

I have done alot of research and looked on the compatibilty charts for my 2004 VW bug convertible. I am either going with a Britax roundabout (? fit in bug) or the Triumph by Evenflo (works it looks like by compatibilty chart) d/t my having no luck in installing a base in this vehicle made by Graco. If I had known about this site before I would have known it wouldn't fit in my car. My question is, does anyone prefer one seat over the other in my scenario (extremely small car/convertible) if both fit and does anyone know for sure if the roundabout would fit in this vehicle??? This is only my secondary car and I know ideally an infant shouldn't be in this probably anyway....Concerned RN mom

My DH wanted one and I tried a FF Marathon. It fit, but it was very tight. I could not get a MA to rearface at all. Good luck
