1994 Mazda MPV questions

I'm 95% sure we're replacing my 1991 Honda Accord with a 1994 Mazda MPV. Looking at it today, it appears to only have a lapbelt in the middle row, passenger side (it's actually the middle; the middle row is a two-seater, offset toward the driver's side). Does anyone have any experience with this van? I'm hoping to install our Husky in that lapbelt-only spot, but I haven't had good luck in the past with lapbelt-only installs.

Also, what's the tether anchor situation in a '94 MPV? Are they factory-installed (I doubt it)? Can I order the parts and install them myself? Where do they get installed?

Last question: what's the cheapest option for securing cargo in the back? The MPV doesn't have much storage space at all behind the third row, but that's where I'll be putting groceries and stuff. Will a cargo net work?

Hm, a mom I know had a Roundabout installed RF in that position of her MPV - not sure what year, but it did have a lap belt.... No idea about fitting the Husky there, though - I've never tried installing ours in that kind of seating position (on the edge of a seat doesn't touch a door). GOOD LUCK

I'm kind of disappointed about the lapbelt-only spot in the second row, I wasn't expecting that, BUT that still leaves me three lap/shoulderbelt spots in the rear of the vehicle, which is one more than I have in my Accord. For now hopefully I can take up that lapbelt-only spot in the second row with the Husky, if it's solid with the short belt path. If not, the Husky will go behind the driver and I can use the Laptop in the lapbelt spot for Hayley's friends for now. It'll be a couple of years at least before they reach 65 pounds.
