This is a Collier Keyworth Safe and Sound II, 1983. This is the same company that made the original Bobby Mac seats. Doesn't look very safe, does it?

Is that the same Safe-n-sound as sold in Australia these days? or is it an American seat?

the AU ones are Safe-n-sound by Britax but have model numbers after that.

That was my seat, or a later version of it! (I was born in 1980). I also remember the joy of legs sticking to hot vinyl. LOL.
My mother used it for all of us kids right up on through my baby brother who wasn't born for another 7 1/2 years
