Successful Three Across thread

07 Nissan Armada Frontier (booster mode), Regent (sbp), Husky (lbp)

In booster mode, the Frontier is installed using latch and tether, but the Latch strap has about an inch of slack allowing plenty of room to buckle. Rock solid installation puts it too close to the Regent.

The frontier can be installed in harness mode in this position lbp.

Both the Regent and the Husky are using the recline bar. Both can be installed using alternate belt paths.

ff Radian/rf Radian/Turbobooster
ff Radian/rf Radian/Parkway

all seat belts (ALR), not checked by a tech (yet). The Parkway fits better than the TB. Will post any others I successfully try and pics whenever I get them!

Update:
ff Radian/ff Radian/Parkway
all seat belts. Buckle stalks needed three full twists for the Radians. The Turbobooster does not fit with this arrangement, and even with the Parkway it's extremely tight. A third Radian might actually fit better there.

FF Britax Starriser Comfy - narrowest setting
RF Safety 1st Uptown
FF Graco Nautilus

All with seat belt.

The install of the Uptown/Nautilus were checked by a tech, I added the Starriser. It is a little difficult to buckle the booster, you have to reach in from the front of the vehicle seat to get it, but it is doable.

FF RN, RF RN, Parkway (put the PW on the passenger side)

Install the RF RN first in the center - easiest way is to install with latch first, then with seatbelt and unhook the LATCH (DO NOT USE LATCH IN CENTER, JUST USE IT TO GET IT TIGHT) - two full twist of the seatbelt stalk.

Ouboard RN requires much cursing and knuckle scraping. Two twists of the belt stalk, pull from the inside of the seat (unvelcro the cover) while wiggling the latchplate to guide it around the bumps on the edge of the seat. Don't forget to leave your tether accessible.

PW is easy peasy. If I was a thinking person, I would have put the PW on the passenger side so that the buckle was not next to the RF RN buckle... not going back out there to fix that, so child in PW is under strict orders to not do any buckling or unbuckling on his own after unbuckling the RF RN once already.

Three across...
Evenflo Titan (cheap model I got free from a car seat check. Dh was laid off at the time and it works for now) installed with lap belt and top tether
Turbo Booster
Baby trend flex loc, installed with latch.
Not checked by tech. The turbo booster is can be difficult too buckle because I have to reach under the titan to get to it. Havent actually ridden with all three yet, just wanted to know it would work
Sorry the pic is really dark. I took it at night.

Drivers side: RF Britax Marathon
Middle: RF Radian 80
Passengers side: RF Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP 30/30

All installed with seatbelts! Checked by technician.

Both girls are on the verge of falling asleep! All seats are very tight and its easiest to leave the peg perego in the car rather than taking it in and out each time. Plus Bella is about 20 lbs, so its getting heavy.

*copied and pasted from email I sent to someone needing help*
The Regent went in rock solid in the center with the recline bar about 1.5 to 2 inches above the bight. The corner of the buckle ended up just a teeny bit in the belt path with one full twist. Not enough to actually poke up into the seating area, just enough to be aesthetically annoying. Another twist would take care of it, but is not needed for safety reasons. You have to finangle the female end of the buckle a little bit to get it positioned just right under the recline bar, but it does work. Something I had forgotten about doing to the Burban is that I cut the hard plastic casing off the buckle stalks when I first got it. You'll be able to see in the pictures what I mean. As long as you are careful not to cut the webbing, doing so is considered acceptable practice.
There was PLENTY of room to put the Frontier driver's side outboard and other Regent passenger side outboard. You'll see this in the pictures too. No need to uninstall the center Regent to verify independent installs. If you want another Regent driver's side outboard, you'll need to install the outboard one first to verify an independent install for that one.
I only tried the Frontier driver's side outboard. The belt is *just* long enough for LBP. I had to kneel in it to get it to buckle. Another set of hands to hold the
seat belt fully retracted is very useful for both outboard seats. Be prepared to bounce vigorously.
When you tether the seats, don't try to make the tethers super duper tight. As you've already found out, the seat backs just aren't strong enough or high enough to make that work. Tighten enough to remove the slack, but not enough to cause traction on the seat.

To tether in this vehicle you have to tether to the third row seat belts, or have heavy duty tether anchors (HDTA) installed. There are suitable locations for HDTAs in all six rear seating positions.

The outboard l/s belts are long enough for LBP, but the center lap-only belt is not.

Pictures are in the album under my profile.

Driver's side: Britax Parkway
Center (LATCH): RF Scenera
Passenger's side: Recaro Vivo

The Vivo looks like it might be difficult for a child to buckle, depending on their ability. But...I could buckle it, so I'm figuring my 8 year old can.

It would have fit better with 2 Parkways instead of a Vivo, but I don't have access to the 2nd PW right now.

Not yet checked by a tech. But I can have it done Saturday :)

EDIT:
My 8 year old couldn't buckle the Vivo. I tried a HB Turbo Booster, and it fit as well, but she still couldn't buckle it. I had to buckle for her.

I rearranged seats tonight this is what I have now:

Passenger's side- Graco Nautilus- This has to be as close to the door as possible, but it's not touching the door when closed
Center- Britax Parkway
Driver's side- RF Cosco Scenera
