I just successfully installed 3 across in a 2001 Subaru Legacy.
1. Passenger side on LATCH Graco snugride RF
2. Middle on seatbelt- three belt stalk twists-Radian FF
3. Drivers side - Britax Marathon-on LATCH- FF
This was not checked by a tech, but all three are rock solid, and surprisingly very little sideways tilt on outboard seats.
My daughter 4 yo, 30 pounds is in the Radian, son 2 year old is in the Britax, and baby to be, sometime very soon, will be in the graco. I was surprised at how easy the install was, even being 9 months pregnant.
Thanks for all the information on this site. It definitely helped me to make the decision to buy the Radian and try the install, instead of buying a new car!
Jess

Great job! I'm glad you were able to make it work!

Three across in '05 Camry

I installed two Parkways and one Regent in an '05 Camry today. It's my first three across.

The harness is high on my son because it's one of his sister's seats and I didn't want to change it out since I was only playing. His seat has it in the lower slot.

The Regent installed so nicely in the Camry. It was very easy using latch outboard for both lbp and sbp. With the shoulder/lap belt the lbp was simple but the sbp took some work. I tried to do the same three across in our '98 Corolla but it was a definite no go. There was hardly any leg room at all with the Regent in the Corolla.

This could become very addicting. :)

That's awesome! I wouldn't have guessed that would work.

It even looks like the PWs are fairly easy to buckle.

Well done! I merged your thread into the handy Successful 3 Across thread as a handy reference for Camry installations.

Yes Debbie they were pretty easy to buckle. I needed to see if they would fit in my mom's car since she's taking care of my kids while I take my CPST course next month. Now I know she can get them to and from school safely.

FF MA, FF radian, FF MA
all with seatbelts

FF radian, RF MA, FF radian
latch, seatbelt, latch.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Great to know! I have two MAs installed in our 2007 Civic, one RFing and one FFing. I never thought you would be able to fit anything in between them. Good to know once both seats are FFing. We do have a Radian to squeeze in there. I am assuming that they all had to be installed with seatbelt, rather than the outboard MAs being installed with LATCH...

Here's my addition:

Make/Model/Year: 2002 Ford Focus Wagon
Install method: LATCH, seatbelt, LATCH, all tethered. You could also do seatbelt, LATCH, seatbelt or all seatbelt.
Configuration of seats: FF, RF, FF
Seats used: Cosco Regal Ride (Scenera/Touriva), Radian, Graco UltraCargo
Checked by a Tech: No

Rock solid installs, especially on the outboard seats with LATCH. The Radian had to go in the middle. I previously had the Radian RFing outboard and the Cargo in the middle, but the Regal Ride (RFing or FFing) wouldn't fit next to the Cargo. There are a few different combos that you could do, but the seats configure the best with the Radian in the middle. You could easily substitute a MA for the Cargo or Regal Ride as a PP has noted.

After looking at many of these pictures, it seems that it must be possible to fit 3 forward facing seats in my 2002 CRV, but I just don't understand HOW you're doing it... As I posted pictures in another thread, the seat belt buckles in the center of the back seat are VERY close together. The base will cover one of them for sure.

Are you guys scooching the seats in front of the seat belt buckles to fit the seat in?

Thanks much.

2002 Honda Odyssey (more):

This was checked by a CPST-I:

Radian 65 / Decathlon / Radian 65

The Radians required one twist of the buckle stalk, unbuckling to let it back in a few clicks of the switchable retractor and the seat to be reclined and then pushed up. If you are trying this, install the DC first in the center, then take it out without changing the lapbelt length. Install the Radians but don't push the seat up. Put the DC back in and then push the seat up. I don't suggest trying this alone. :)

Marathon/ Radian65 /Decathlon - this one we didn't quite get all the way in, but I think it would work. The seats can physically fit in the space, but getting the Radian tight in the center was the difficult part requiring lots of unbuckling to tighten the belt a little more and tigger-hopping while someone else hlods the buckle in alignment.

Yes, I put the seatbelt through the belt path, make the seatbelt VERY loose, move the carseat out of the way, buckle, push the carseat back into place, then put weight in the seat and tighten the seatbelt.

FF Radian/RF Radian/FF Radian

I haven't tried 3 FF Radians yet, but will need to find out if this works, or I may have to drive another vehicle when the RF child reaches 33 lbs ( hopefully not too soon)

I also got FF MA/FF Radian/RF Radian to work until I got the 3rd Radian last month. I like how nice the 3 Radians look all together.

My first 3 across!!!! (Posted elsewhere, but recomended that I add it to this thread.)

Make/Model/Year: Dodge Dakota (PICKUP!) 2003
Install method: outboard seats are lap/shoulder, Radian is latched and tethered
Configuration of seats: all Forward-facing (FF)
Seats used: Turbobooster, Radian, Parkway
Checked by a Tech: No

That TB is a PAIN to buckle. I think I might swap the two boosters because there seems to be more room on the driver's side. I would love to just make it two Parways, but with the absence of a girly cover for a Parkway in Canada, DSD would never go for it. And they're getting Monterey's in the summer anyways.

Here's a link to the thread with the pics:

DH just saw me looking at this thread and said I was looking at "carseat porn"

Honda Pilot, 2006

passenger side: RF Baby Trend Latch Loc infant seat installed with rigid latch

middle: Parkway Booster used with seatbelt

driver side: FF Graco Ultra CarGo installed with Latch and top tether

I'm hoping to swap the infant seat with a Scenera soon...don't know if it will work yet.

Not checked by a tech...but rigid latch is super easy and the Graco is easy with latch as well.
