My wife and I just found out we are having a baby! I was given a Mazda 3 that is a fully loaded (side curtain airbags included). I was wondering....what is a good carseat for me to get that is (obviously) safe? There is not a ton of room but I want quality for my baby. Any help? Thanks in advance!

I've heard that the shell of a Graco Snugride is a little smaller than in the Safeseat, making it easier to install in the Mazda3... I mean, we had a snugride in ours and passengers in our car ate the dashboard, so if space is a concern you could go with that.

All infant seat will match up to a stroller usually by the same maker. I agree the Chicco KeyFit 30 is a great option for your vehicle. It's still compact enough but has a 30lb weight limit so it will last you longer then a Graco Snugride. What ever you do avoid the Evenflo seats because of where they require the handle to be placed while in the vehicle plus it requires 1.5" between the vehicle seat & the car seat. This will mean your front occupants will be close to the dash.
