Can I get some advice from the experts?

I belong to a local parent's club and in the February newsletter I am having a small carseat safety article added. I've had some issues with this club in the past about carseat issues(they allowed expired seats to be sold at their big sale).

It won't be a big space that I'll have so I need to try to get the most in that I can. The big ones I had thought of already is about car seats expiring, dates of local carseat checks, keeping infants rf as long as possible, boosters till 4'9" and EH. Any other great things that I should add?

I appreciate any help or links for stats. Thanks!!

Those are great advocacy points. My best advice is to read your manuals- both carseat and vehicle. That will eliminate most misuse. Maybe say something like, "Over 80% of carseats are installed incorrectly. Make sure you read your carseat and vehicle owner's manuals."

Remember to always follow both vehicle + carseat manuals

& each "graduation" in seat type (RF > FF > booster > seatbelt) is actually demotion in safety: so don't prematurely graduate preschoolers into boosters....
