Tested out the SS1 on my 14 month old DD

I finally tested out the SS1 with Zoe. I have seen them, but never put her in one, until yesterday. Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me

She fit really well, I was shocked, because she is pretty tall for her age. (~ 23 lbs and ~ 34 inches) She had about 2 inches of shell above her head and was in the second slots. Her feet were pretty far over the edge, which proves she is all legs.

It was a pretty nice seat.... and I am an infant seat hater

On a side note, the Keyfit 30 has a sticker on the base that says: "Rear face longer, stay safer longer" or something to that effect. I thought that was nice.

I put Cooper in one at Sears. Ran into a family there that looked confussed about seats. I suggested a radian instead of the eddie bauer 3in1 they were looking at. I looked at her in her seat and she had tons of room but apparently they are worried about her feet. Anyway....I looked closer only to see that it was a SS1!!!!

so I grabbed the one off the shelf and stuck Cooper in it to show them that he is still good at 21months. He had an inch above his head, so we would JUST be switching him over. They were shocked.

My 20 month old still fits in it as well. Maybe I really should bring my camera next time to take a pic of him. He has 2 inches of room left and 3 lbs. I so wish that seat was availible when he was born.
