Has anyone seen the VW Commerical where the dad's driving around to put baby to sleep? They show an Evenflo Titan (i believe) FF and the chestclip near bellybutton.... Yikes!

I didn't see the commercial. I would email them and call them out about it!

I did that last year with Allstate! They had that stupid commerical where the mother is driving (wheels on the bus playing in the backround) and she's looking in the rear view mirror at her son 3/4 y/o in a FF carseat....then she gets smoked t-bone style going through a green light!

It showed her getting the kid out of the car seat AFTER the wreck! It was a hard impact w/ airbag deployment and glass shattering. BEST policy is: To leave your child in the seat! It acts as immoblization and you could make an injury worse. We are taught to package the children up with rolled towels and tape in the seats. Unless, they wouldn't be breathing or have a pulse than obviously it is a true emergency and you have to move fast!

After a nice long email to allstate I got a response back. They received numerous emails about the commercial. Everyone stated it was sending the wrong impression out to parents/caregivers out there. Oh my god, we've been in a wreck so let's yank Jr. out of his seat to give him a big hug and kiss! Great idea!

I haven't seen it. I searched youtube but couldn't find it either. Do you have a link? There is something wrong with the world when we can't even portray proper carseat usage in commercials!

I saw the VW commercial. The baby was RF, you could tell by the direction the lights went overhead. The chest clip was too low though.
