Oh man, this is a niiice seat. Really really nice. I had a quick minute after gymnastics and before dinner to put him in, and he has tons of growing room. The side wings do come really far out on the sides of his face, and if there is a deal-breaker, that will be it. I wish there was more than one crotch buckle position, but I think it's bearable. The seat is fantastically made. DH is mad that I bought another Recaro seat, in case we have a problem with it and now that we know that Recaro CS sucks, he's afraid we could be stuck with it if there's any issues. I haven't installed it yet, but I'm not worried about that. Not having locking clips is the biggest issue for me personally, but depending on how it fits in my van and how DS feels about the headwings, I may just keep it in spite of the lock off issue.
