I'm still on hold. It wouldn't match diddly squat in my car, but my IL's have the black, silver, and red FPSVD in their car, and the Circus Dot's would go great with theirs. If it's in-stock, then I think I'll buy this one and swap seats with them. I'll have something safe for Ian until the TrueFit comes out, and I can then pass along the FPSVD to my folks so Ian has something to ride in when he visits them.

The manager is looking right now while I'm on hold. He found the FPSV Booster for $29.95 in two patterns, but they do not have the FPSVD convertible. Bummer...

I saw the SS1 at my BCF the other day, but...I really hate the fabric on the cover. It's all crinkly, and feels like one of those infant toys. And it's so dark, I'm wondering how hot my poor baby would be in it this summer.

Plus, I'm still un-decided if I even want an infant seat this time, as this will definitely be my last child, and since I'm having a spring birth, I won't have to worry about the cold weather where I am.
Bah..

We're going convertible now as I see no reason to buy a seat that wouldn't even last a year.

Oh man! I just got home from Grand Rapids and won't have a chance to get back that way for a few days, at least. I'm temped to buy from BabyDepot, but then again, I do have 3 months left and a better pattern might go on sale. Decisions, decisions...

No, they had no signs on how long it lasts. Our FPSVD have been on sale for ever it seems but this is the lowest I've seen it.
