11.5 mo in keyfit

Just thought I'd snap a couple pics of Brooklyn in her keyfit. She still fits pretty well. I had started to loosen her harness to take her out and then rebuckled for a couple pics and she was mad. So it is tighter in the car.
Anyway, look past the sweet potato stained crying face:eek: She is about 28 inches, 17 pounds and has about 2-3 inches above her head.
I snapped a pic of her in my sil's compass infant seat to compare, but it didn't really turn out. I'll put it at the end anyway. She is about 1.5 inches from the top in that one and I would probably consider it outgrown.

Thanks guys! I just can't believe how long the seat has lasted me. It is great, considering my others outgrew the 26", 20# snugride at 4-5 months! She will get as much use out of this seat as the snugride got out of the other 3 combined - but she is much smaller than they were.

so is this seat say to 26in then, cause the 30pd ones say 30in and I didn't think the shell was changed.

It is the keyfit 22 - says 30" and 22 pounds. The new keyfit30 goes to 30#s but has the same shell - I believe.

My old snugride was a 26", 22 pound seat.

Brooklyn is so cute!! Now you need to update your siggy, because I keep picturing her as the little baby in your siggy, she is so big and cute!!!

Thanks - if I could get a cute smiley pic of her in her seat, I would switch it! If I can remember and have time, I will snap one next time before we leave rather than when we get home;) Her stats are about right. Or maybe I'll wait until I switch her to a marathon. Almost makes me want to wait until she outgrows the seat to get a marathon. I was planning to get one in a month at the Feb Britax sale. Would you or would you wait?

I'd definitely grab a MA in Feb. You never know when the next growth spurt will hit. Even grumpy, she's sweet!

Thanks. She sure has been a dream of a baby. Almost makes me want another. OK I think I will always want another:whistle: Trying hard to convince myself that 4 is good. Dh has been done since 2, although his girls have him wrapped around their fingers like no other and he loves them to death. Every day closer to her b-day makes me more sad that my baby is growing up.

Yeah, I'll probably grab a MA in Feb. I just don't love any of the cover options. I'm also considering a regent for Sierra and passing down her ma. I just kinda want a 35# rf limit.

I would grab either a MA or a Regent in the February sale. If you get a Regent the timeline will work out well with the age span of your kids. When did you get your MA/ What is the DOM?

My ma expires 10/2010, when Brooklyn is 3.5. I have a feeling she will still be tiny enough to rearface which is my only reason for wanting another marathon, one with a 35# rf limit in particular. I keep going back and forth. Sierra is now even with the second to top slots so I just moved her to the top. But Taylor still fits with 1/2-1" to go so I think Sierra would expire it - she has followed his growth pattern almost exactly.
I would still get Sierra a regent when she outgrows her ma or it expires. As of this moment I'm going to get another ma. In an hour, who knows:whistle:

I haven't seen an older baby in the keyfit so thanks for posting this!!! Looks like it will last a bit longer than the snugride!
