It's a picture I think of Britney's son. It was with the AP article today about her.

Astronaut baby in camouflage with a belly clip!!!

That woman needs her head smacked. And parenting classes. And to never be in charge of a child's safety again.

Edde Bauer 3-in-1. He's got a jacket or a sweatshirt or something resting on top of the seat.

Nice belly clip

That is ds's old EB 3 in 1.

And why is he laying on his back ? The Rear of the vehicle is to the right, correct?

Yeah I posted the same pic in the Britney thread. :) You can also see the harness is really friggin loose. Maybe it's so reclined because the lower anchor straps are also too loose and so it's sitting really far away from the seatback? Who knows. I don't see the shoulder belt so I'm just guessing they used LATCH.

When I first saw that I was wondering if it was maybe just the angle of the picture? I am not sure how you can even get the seat that reclined FF. At least he is buckled at the crotch

I can tell you from experience, that the LATCH straps are not that long on that seat.

If it is sitting that far forward on the vehicle seat, ther'es no way its clipped in the back with LATCH.

*sigh* how is it even possible for you to install that seat like that?!?!??! It looks like the seat itself is sitting on something and the back angle just looks really odd. Those poor kids :(

I could see it getting installed that way if it's in recline FFing. The belt path is pretty high in the seat, which would put it right next to the backseat if it's reclined. If you have a long-ish seatbelt.

I thought it looked like the 3 in 1s, but I hadn't seen the camo cover before. And in all the things I've seen and heard of with that seat, seeing it on its back FFing is not one of them.

I parked next to a car with two Roundabouts at 45 degrees forward facing the other day. Sigh.

And that's in Daddy's car? Sheesh. He needs some safety help too then.

And of course it's FFing. He's been riding on mommy's lap since five months and FFing since seven. It's a miracle someone in that household isn't dead yet.

Yeah, apparently the Camo is just a jacket.

I honestly do not see how they manage to misinstall seats SO OFTEN. And so grossly. I mean, sure lots of folks twist the seatbelt on the install or have belly clips.

But they manage to take the cake.

Yes!!!! You know, i'm immune to seeing belly clips or *sigh* expired seats IRL. But when were talking about a man who probablly gets way more a month in child support than some of the families make a year, it just makes me so mad.

Those two people can afford to have every baby "expert" in the world come over there and knock them upside the head with common sense parental advice, but no- they continue to set such a horrible example of child safety and constantly endanger their childs lives.

I keep thinking that the drivers service or the Nanny service or even the court appointed child monitor!! Might have some carseat sense.

But nope.:(
