Which is better if either?

I have 2 Gracco turbo boosters and a cosco booster. I have 2 shoulder belts and a lap belt in the back seat of my car. What I was trying to figure out is which is better. I can pull the fuse to the air bag and put my oldest up front with me or I can take the back off his and place him in the lap belt position. He is 5 years old and 48 pounds. I have a 5 point harness for my daughter but it will not fit in the back with any combination of 2 other boosters. This is only temporary like a week max so I canâ€™t see buying yet another car seat.

Boosters can never be used a lap-only belt.... It will say in the mannaul & also should say on a sticker right on ther booster.

If it's a shield booster, those are largely discontinued & deemed unsafe > http://www.cpsafety.org/articles/shieldbooster.aspx

What you could do is take the back off to sit him in front with the seat as far back as possible, upright of course. However, if he sits still better with the back on it then leave it on.

For the lap-only belt you should use a Kid-Y with RideRyte or 86-Y ... ours was $45 including the tehter anchor & shipping - the dealer installed the tether anchor for free.
