Carseat Phone Holder

I love it! If only it was Britax instead of Recaro....

but that's the whole point. its' not a "carseat" cell phone holder but a "race car seat" phone holder, as in a race car seat. britax doesn't make those. ;) i think it's marketed more toward the adult male crowd than the carseat junkie crowd, which explains why it's on a car accessory website. :D

Dh only saw a different pic originally, and assumed it was modeled after an actual carseat, not a racing seat. I thought it pretty much looked like a carseat, myself, though. ;)

that's funny, actually, because that holder appears to be an exact scaled replica of a famous recaro racing shell. funny how carseats look like racing seats. :)

these are the real thing:

Yes they are. DH is the current NASCAR All-American AZ state Champion. His first seats looked like this. After 11+ yrs of racing he had since upgraded his seat to include SIP and a HANS device ;)

WOW!!

What country did that come from?

Oh, that's pure US :)

I bought mine back in 2002...it was SO ADVANCED at the time...EPS foam in the 'headwings', memory harness, good padding...then they took out the memory harness and called it the Comet for a couple years...

They still have them for the low low price of 139 at babydealz...

Yeah, it looked so weird to me until I saw a racing seat, then I at least got a glimpse at their inspiration.

(OMG, it was SO sucky for my 2 yo...NO sleep support!!!! I can't even remember what happened to mine, but I got a Marathon next to rearface her again, lol)

Here's the whole page on it... http://www.babydealz.com/evapcomtoucb.html

OMG that's so bizarre - I think I saw one of those today! I was peeking at a car across the parking lot because from the side it looked like a Radian - very low profile, yk? Then mom stepped aside and I saw it had those funky wings and armrests. I figured it was some Evenflo combo I wasn't familiar with, but now I'm wondering if it wasn't a Comet. Weird!
