True Fit, Como, or Signo???

Okay, I have a Como with the twisty strap issue. I want to replace the seat with something else as the straps drive me crazy. I do love the seat however. I have a Radian and a Blvd. as well but am not in love with either seat. I think I like the Radian best...but worry about the SIP on it. It seems as though the sides are so shallow. What seat would you get? What is the SIP like on the True Fit. DS is currently 30 lbs with clothes on. If I get the True Fit I'd like to get the Casino (which isn't available until March). Hopefully he won't weight 33 lbs by then. I have to get rid of Como now so using it to 35 lbs isn't an option. DS is only 20 months so FFing is not an option. Also, I don't want to be the first to own the True Fit and if it takes a while to fix the potential bugs in the seat then I'm sure DS will be more than 35 lbs. Should I just get a Signo?
Thanks!

What kind of car do you drive? The Radian does have "SIP," in that it has foam on the sides to protect the child's head. Unless it was installed outboard in a vehicle without side-curtain airbags, I wouldn't rule it out for that reason alone, yk?

We have a MB ML350 (2006) and a MB R350 (2007). The R350 has side airbags for sure.. I can't remember about the ML. Right now the Radian is in the ML.. but when the Como goes, it will be in the R.

Im getting a truefit, thankfully the US get them first, so i will hav read all the reviews before they arrive here and i am in contact with the importer so will grab one of the first, as i will be able to get the demo seats and then if they are good i will buy one for a demo seat.

I have a Signo that I just got (that I am trying to sell because it doesn't work for my boys) and I don't know that the straps are any better than the Como. The straps are very thin and are nothing like the Blvd or the Radian. I think the Signo straps are no different than the Evenflo's or Alpha Omega's, etc. that are out there. So, I don't know that you would be doing much better, if at all, if you get the Signo. I am praying that the True Fit will work for us, and that it is as nice as we have read about here on these boards. And, that the release date doesn't keep getting delayed like the Recaro's....
