No rfing tether spot in 08 Town and Country?

I had to have a rental Friday night and I could not find a place to tether Evan's BV on either side. There were captain's chairs in the middle row (which I HATE). It was nice and roomy though compared to my Caravan and it had 3 LATCH spots which was nice when I went to put in AJ's Radian.

I have an '08 Grand Caravan sitting in my garage (we bought a new van on friday!)... there is a spot to tether it rearfacing.

I haven't tried it with my Marathon's D-ring, but the Radian's D-ring fits around the seat track leg. It means you can't adjust the front seat, but we never adjust it anyway. ;)

There is also a metal plate that appears to be welded/bolted to the vehicle frame... but I haven't had a chance to really check out that location yet. Too cold outside. :)

I have an 06 Caravan and I can only find 1 spot to tether my seat. The TC had a total different set up though and didn't have that same spot (that I saw anyways). I just know I'm going to start seeing some of these are checks and I like to be prepared just in case they 'might' have a Britax. :) Oh, this one was a stow and go if that makes a difference.

The front seats are identical on the stow n' go and the swivel n' go... we have the swivel n' go version.

I need to go out and take pictures of the new van and I'll post photos of good RF tether spots when I get a chance... it's pretty busy around here right now, so I may not get a chance to post them until after Christmas. We go home for Christmas in just over a week and I have a ton of stuff to do before then. ;)

Okay... done making chocolates :)...

This is under the front passenger seat. I can just barely get the Radian's D-ring around the seat track leg (the Birtax is shorter and wouldn't work around the seat track leg). For simplicity, I would probably tether to the horizontal metal plate...

I know it looks thin, but it is the same thickness as the spot I was tethering in my '03... which numerous techs have agreed upon. I can get it around the seat track leg just barely, but again... that is the same thickness as this horizontal plate. :)

The TC didn't have a 'leg' though, it was one long side. This where mine is tethered in my Caravan for lack of anything better.

It's possible they are not identical in every respect.

When I first looked, the 'leg' looked like one long side as well (on the Grand Caravan). The d-ring just barely went underneath the long side and then just barely was able to wrap around the 'leg'. I know the Britax d-ring would not fit around that 'leg'... it would be much too short.

This is where I was tethering in my '03...
