chest clip ?

So I was wondering, just a curiosity thing, about how the chest clip is effected in the evenflo chase (I think that is the right name). I understand that the role of the chestclip. In this seat that I have, purchased at target three years ago, the harness adjuster is located on the right side of the harness. The thing I liked most about the seat was that adjuster being there, which kept ds from shoving his chest clip down to his belly. It came like that, and it looked right in the manual. This featur emade the harness tricky for me to adjust a few times when changing kids, but overall I liked it. So, did I have it wrong, or does it work some other way in this seat?

You had it correctly from what I can see. Here is one at TRU and it appears to have the harness adjustor on the lower right harness strap.

Yes, that's the way it comes.
I have one and it seemed strange at first but I got used to it.
It is similar to some of the Latch straps and top tether straps (the good ones!) and how they loosen and tighten.
I've seen the Chase recommended for kids who slide their chest clips down and squeeze out.
