Anyone getting $99 price on Radian48s at CT?

I'm just wondering if anyone's been successful in getting CT to sell a 48lb Radian at the sale price they offered about a month back of $99? It's now being sold at $199 and most of the stores near where I live still have stock. I think they're going to have trouble selling off this old stock with the 65lb version now available at prices around $260.

I tried to talk a sales guy into selling one to me for $99 this weekend but he didn't have the authority. He checked his computer for upcoming sales but there's nothing scheduled for the next 3 weeks although he did say they could come up in a 2-day sale.

The store I was at didn't even have a Radian on display. They just had 2 in boxes.

So, has anyone been able to sweettalk that $99 price?

I know one of the members here got a store in the city to sell them a seat at the $99 price - apparently they still had stock in from that sale.. from what I heard another person also got the $99 price at the same store. Another store in the city though was quite rude about even being asked about matching the sale price.

*I think it was about 1.5 or 2wks ago that the member got the sale price matched.

A friend had success in Gatineau, but they may be sold out by now. Her method of fandangling was more to do with the inconvenience of being told to come down there because it was the only place with seats left, and then being told that the sale was over. She kindof guilted them, like "I came all this way because you told me to!" Since the sale has been over for a while, I suppose a new strategy would be needed, though.

I was able to grap one for $99 today at my local CTC.

Found their last one on the shelve and ask the associate to verify the price after he scan the item he told me its $199 and they are (CTC) discontinuing it and I ask him to see if he can ask the manage if I can get it for their previous sale price ($99) and I made it.

I think as per others suggestions "just ask nicely" if you can find it (it could be their last one or two since they are discontinuing it) you might get it or just tell them your friend was able to get one today at this price.

If required pm me so I can scan the receipt so you can show it to the manage of your local CTC and tell them to match it.
