My DH gave someone a ticket for not having their child in a proper child restraint (YAY for hubby!:thumbsup:) The 3 year old was in the front seat of their car, in a low back booster. Rather than the driver giving a rip that his kid could be safer, he refused to sign the ticket. Initially DH pulled him over for going 55 in a 40 and for running a red light.

What is wrong with people?

I *think* they can arrest the person if they wont sign. Chances are when he goes for his court date he will get a bigger ticket, no jail time.

The child was moved to the rear seat. Hopefully to get out of the ticket the parents will get a proper seat for the child.
