Re: Whats the difference between EPS and EPP foam?

Good post... I'd like to find some nitty gritty details, too.
I don't know which is better, per se, but I found this pretty basic description:

"EPP is an acronym for Expanded Polypropylene. EPP has found many uses in the model airplane world and is a light weight and much more durable material compared to rigid foams such as white beaded EPS."

I'm pretty certain Britax uses EPS foam.
DD10 (Diono Santa Fe), DD8.5 (Diono Santa Fe), DD6 (Recaro Vivo), DD2 (Britax Marathon/Boulevard), and DD5wk. (Bella Chicco Keyfit)!

Re: Whats the difference between EPS and EPP foam?

    this is my understanding:

EPS is like the kind in bicycle helmets or foam coolers. It's generally thinner and more brittle.

EPP is almost rubbery and can actually withstand multiple impacts.

I don't know that one is better than the other.

edit: or just read that thread ^^
