I know someone was inquiring about getting a rf swedish seat. Has anyone actually gotten one? I need a new seat and am "sort of" considering this. I know it is illegal and if you have gotten one and don't want to 'out' yourself, will you pm me with any info you have about the seat?? Thanks!!

Since you already know it's illegal, then just remember that the vehicle must have 2 acceptable top tether points for RF -- many vehicles here may be incompatable with Swedish seats....

You mean lower tether points? lol. They can either go around the seat legs around in and around the seat bight. The only kind of cars I haven't been successfully been able to install my eldests Swedish seat in was some bmw coupe of my MIL's. To be honest American vehicles aren't much better or worse at all (when it comes to car seat installation) IMHO, that's having installed car seats in vehicles from all over. It's a much of a muchness!

Lower ... upper  Meh! :p I was told both at one point -- could be wrong, but my Danish friend said 2 lower + 2 upper: the lower ones don't seem to be the problem (at least not if the vehicle has LATCH) but my minivan only has 1 acceptable RF top tether anchor point for installing in the middle row (a Scandinavian RF seat could only work in the center of my 3rd row)

Two top and two bottom? Never heard of it LOL. The two I've seen (and all the ones I've researched in to) only had two lower ones :)
