New Seats!!! :-D

I purchased a Safety 1st Uptown today for DD's grandparents. It was the best seat I could find for under $100, and I like that it has EPP foam. Also, my Radian65 in Granite came today, and I installed it outboard with LATCH in my mom's 2008 Acura RDX. I LOVE the Radian, and I can't wait to put DD in it.

Only problem is, my mom doesn't like the way it reclines. I had to scoot the font seat up a bit, and the back is sitting almost straight up. I sat in the seat to make sure it was okay, and I didn't have a problem with it. Is there any way I can get the car seat to sit up a bit more???

Unfortunately, the Radian's 'foot' forces it into a 45 degree angle and it's pretty near impossible to get a more upright install. A definite drawback with this seat.

There are definate disadvantages to the Radian RF because of it being so reclined and taking up so much space. We can barely fit one RF in our car and have to push the front passenger seat way forward. The seat is awesome FF however. Glad to hear you like it.

We also have a '08 RDX. How easy was the install?

I love the ability to do 3 across in that car! i got a Regent/snugride(no base) and a safety first apex in there!

I think i need radians to make it more roomy however.

.... hmm...

It took me less than 5 minutes to install it with the LATCH. It fits great, IMO. Of course it will be a lot more convenient to have it FF, because it takes up so much room RF at a 45 degree angle.
