anybody have snugride/SS side by side?

I was playing around with a safe seat at the store the other day and it seems HUGE to me compared to the snugride... does anybody have side by side pictures of the shells?? Is it really that much bigger?

I don't have pictures, but the SafeSeat is about 1" longer front to back than the Snugride when installed in the vehicle... yet it provides an extra 3" of growth over the Snugride.
