Local SafeKids chapter arranged a seminar with the local BRU. They are going to bring everything over that is brand new for us to check out and comment on. I'm sort of hoping I'll see things that aren't on the shelves yet although that seems unlikely. If I see anything good (oh, like the alledged new Graco seat :whistle:) I'll surruptitiously photograph it.

Ah, well poo, nothing there I had seen/heard of before.

Get this though, Cosco is making a new seat called the Pronto to replace the Protek, and it's STILL going to require a headrest behind it. Geez how HARD is it to make a functioning full-back booster?! :rolleyes:

One of the techs had seen the new Graco Triton at a conference in October; she said it looks like a larger Graco Turbobooster with a fully enclosed back.

The Peg Perego Primo Viaggio is going up to 30 lbs.

That's all she wrote. The only samples they had were old stuff, unfortunately.

aw, and I was excited to see you posted hoping to get to see pictures!

That really sucks about cosco renaming a seat and making it so you still have to use headrests :thumbsdown:
